New! Oryx in the Dunes

Namib-Naukluft National Park, Namibia - June 2026

A private trip run by Danny Green of Natures Images to Namib-Naukluft National Park in Namibia. Often referred to as Sossusvlei, this is part of the Namib desert, the world's oldest desert, and boasts sand dunes that reach over 1300 feet or 400 metres in height. We stayed 6 nights at a lodge just inside the park, and each morning and afternoon we drove up and down the road looking for wildlife. In particular we went to photograph the spectacular Oryx with the amazing dunes as a stunning backdrop.
