Old Mondoro Camp, Lower Zambezi National Park, Zambia - September 2026

The last part of our tour in Zambia took us to the superbly situated Old Mondoro Camp in Lower Zambezi National Park. We stayed 7 nights at the camp which is located on the river bank of the Zambezi. There is a dense forest of spectacular Winterthorn trees in the area, and coupled with the blue haze caused by dust and wildfires, the setting is a beautiful backdrop for wildlife photography. "Jumping" Elephants were a special feature of this safari, and we also had excellent Lion and Leopard encounters.
