New! Australia's Wildlife
Kangaroo Island, Mungo NP, Mornington Peninsula NP, Tasmania Arboretum, Cradle Mountain NP & Tasmania's Central Highlands - March 2026

A private tour to many of Australia's Wildlife hotspots. Firstly we visited Kangaroo Island off the coast of South Australia where we had great sightings of Western Grey Kangaroos and Koala. Then to Mungo National Park in the outback of New South Wales - this was particularly good for the largest of the kangaroo species, the Red Kangaroo, and we had a very memorable encounter with a "mob" of Emus! After a short stop in Victoria, it was on to Tasmania. This section was particularly successful for many of Australia's most bizarre animals such as the two monotremes - Platypus and Echidna. We also had wonderful nighttime sightings of wild Tasmanian Devils and Spot-tailed Quolls!
My thanks Clare at Steppes Travel for putting together such a successful trip!
