We stayed 8 nights at Rimba Ecolodge which is on the banks of the Sekonyer River in Kalimantan, part of Indonesian Borneo. Each morning we headed out at 5:30am for a full day on board a Klotok (a small riverboat) to seek out the wildlife along the riverbank and on a number of trails within the adjacent Tanjung Puting National Park. I was amazed at the number of primates we saw - lots of Orangutans, many troops of Proboscis Monkeys, Silver Langurs, Long-tailed Macaques and the White-bearded Bornean Gibbon. A hugely successful trip organised by the UK-based specialist travel company Reef and Rainforest.
